HR Communications Strategy Branding
Project Brief
For this project I was tasked with the re-branding of the University of Lincoln HR Communication Strategy.
Website Design
The main goal of this project was to create a simple and informative publication which would clearly present the key themes of the strategy and highlight the departmental action plan based on the concept of 'Dynamic Engaged People'.
Result
Working with key stakeholders and SME’s the re-branded communication strategy was released for both internal and external audiences and received positive feedback for design and readability.
Vicinity Centres CMS Migration
Project Brief
Working for one of Australia’s leading retail property groups, Vicinity Centres, I was tasked with migrating existing content from and old CMS (Umbraco) to a new CMS (Storblok), whilst keeping in line with the organisations style and branding.
Website Design
The websites were designed using the headless CMS Storyblok, this would allow ease of use by content management teams and enable a clean, responsive theme which could be accessed by a wide range of devices.
The real aim of the migration was to make the content easily accessible by a large audience, whilst emphasising the company’s purpose to “enrich community experiences”.
Result
In January 2020 the websites were successfully migrated over to the new CMS, enriching the user experience for millions of people across Australia.
Human Rescources Blog Build
Project Brief
To enhance the HR departments presence both internal and external to the University, I was tasked with building a blog page to house all content.
Website Design
The objective was to develop a clean and simple website with easy navigation and responsive layout. The site was built using WordPress CMS with the addition of a page builder plugin to allow ease of use by site administrators.
Result
In October 2018, the site was successfully integrated into the university’s platform and made available to all internal and external visitors.
Staff Survey Animated Video
Project Brief
To help promote the biennial Staff Survey for the University of Lincoln, I was commissioned to develop an informative 2D-animated explainer video.
Design
Playing on key themes from across the University, I developed a 2 minute animation using Adobe Flash Professional CS6.
Result
As a result of a successful release and advertisement of the video, we were able to achieve the target level of 75% participation.
Kaplan Business School LMS Re-design
Project Brief
This project involved the re-design of the Internal learning management system (LMS) for Kaplan Business School (KBS), AU. The nature of this work was time-sensitive as the LMS needed to be ready for the new trimester, giving me 12 weeks to achieve the goal.
Design and Layout
The design and layout needed to be clean and reflect the organisations branding guidelines. Using Bootstrap framework I also developed a responsive and user-friendly design with ease of navigation.
Result
The LMS was successfully re-developed in time for the new trimester. With all resources available to staff and students across Australia.
Changing Behaviours E-Learning Module
Project Brief
In support of raising awareness and the prevention of sexual misconduct, harassment and bullying on campus, I worked with the Student Wellbeing Service to develop an online e-learning module for both staff and students at the University of Lincoln.
Design and Content
Using the content authoring tool, Adapt Builder, I worked with SME’s and key stakeholders to develop a 15-minute e-learning module. One key feature that was applied to the modules involved a number of decision-making case studies that derived imagery from around the campus.
Result
Both modules were released internally to more than 2,000 members of staff and 45,000 students. Feedback received from users was overwhelmingly positive and I was asked to represent the University of Lincoln at the Office for Students in London to present my work and contributions.
